                                                    NOTICE                                Dated:- 13th January, 2010

Applications are invited on prescribed format from eligible candidates for empanelment as Legal Aid Counsels for Criminal Cases for all the Court Complexes of Delhi. The candidate who possesses the following eligibility criteria and experience can apply for empanelment on the panel of Delhi Legal Services Authority.

Eligibility

For Empanelment in Criminal Courts: An Advocate should be having 7 years or above standing at the Bar but in no case, less than 5 years on the date of the notification.

¢ Application forms will be made available from 14.01.2010.
¢ Last date for submission of completed Application form 30.01.2010.

How to Apply

1. Application form along with detailed instructions and terms & conditions of empanelment in     Delhi Legal Services Authority can be obtained from the office of Secretaries of Delhi Legal     Services Authority in the various Court Complexes in Delhi or can be downloaded from our     website www.dlsa.nic.in and Delhi District Court website www.delhicourts.nic.in

2. The candidates are advised to read the instructions contained in the advisement carefully to     ensure that they are eligible for empanelment in Delhi Legal Services Authority in terms of     qualification, instructions and conditions.

3. The candidate shall apply for empanelment on the application format prescribed by the Delhi     Legal Services Authority and not in any other form.

4. A candidate shall submit only one application. The panel of Advocates shall be prepared     Court Complex wise and the candidate can select only one Court Complex for empanelment     in Delhi Legal Services Authority.

5. The complete applications should reach the Secretary of District Legal Services Committee      in any Court Complex by 30.01.2010 who shall then transmit the same to Administrative      Branch     of Delhi Legal Services Authority at Central Office, Pre-Fab Building, Patiala      House Courts,     New Delhi.

6. Selection will be through interview after shortlisting of candidates.
